Geez the husband loses his fan card forever, just hit a home run against your team in the top of the 9th and this guy is celebrating like his team just won Game 7.

He was clearly celebrating his wife catching a WS homerun ball. At least that's the way i see it.

I agree, but the brother in law did the right thing.

Yup, his wife caught a record breaking world series ball... I've seen people go crazier over a t-shirt from the t-shirt cannon than they did for a baseball probably worth $5,000 or more.
I think you forget about the game implications when the game comes to your seat like that.
Mini-phil mickelson was a d-bag for making that decision for them... unless he bought them all the front row seats.

you dont think a record setting ball in the world series could sell for at least 5k?

I don't.
ETA - not that particular ball. It's a record attached to a single game. A record setting ball attached to a specific player is likely to generate much more money than the ball in question.

Immediately what I thought when I saw this live last night. I was like wtf is wrong with that guy? God damn tshirt fans.
I was so happy the real fan stole it and threw it back. I'm calling bs that the girl was going to throw it back.

She would have, but being a girl, she would have hit the guy behind her.

If it's worth even $500. I would have tried to convey to the camera and the millions of fans by articulately mouthing and pointing to the ball,
"I PROMISE TO SELL THIS frickING BALL FOR AS MUCH MONEY AS I CAN. frick THE DODGERS."
