I ran one over with my car. He was riding his bike, jaywalked....biked, was hit by one car and sent into my lane and I finished the fat bastard off.
He got out on some technicality. He was riding a bike because he had lost his license to a DUI.
I found out almost 2 weeks later when I picked up my car.
True Story....

I’ve far exceeded 36 times
I went to public schools in the 70’s so that number was exceeded by the time I was 18.

The text of the article says 10.76 while the headline says 36. I missed something.

I like to think that number is skewed by Aaron Hernandez's teammates.

I have wondered about this for all my life. Thanks for the stat. Also, when I speak with a person +80 years old, I always think that there is a good chance they killed someone.

I wonder how many murderers post on this board

Considering I graduated from high school with one, I would take the over on that.

One childhood friend had to do a justified homicide. Very successful guy nowadays.
Another childhood friend I'm pretty damn sure is a serial killer in waiting... if he hasn't done someone in already. Very creepy dude, loved browsing gore sites, has mommy issues. Don't talk to him anymore lol.

I hung out with a dude who intentionally killed his mom when he was a teenager. Nice chap.

This sort of reasoning is wht pisses me off bout the media they constantly dig up pictures of political and famous people standing next to degenerates. I figure as many selfies the Donald has taken ya look hard enough there is bound to be a pic of him standing by a murderer or 2 heck go to an event and you can get a selfie with him but it dont mean he kissed yA MOTHER.

To be fair, all the people who stood next to Hillary Clinton has skewed the results.

This number is likely inflated by the fact that a lot of murders are by someone the victim knows (and mainly family/spouse)

All were unsolved unless those people went back and turned themselves in. You hear some wild shite in rehab.
I also know a ex Mexican gang banger whose initiation was to empty a gun into a crowd in San Antonio but he didn’t know if anyone was hit. A real gem

I met OJ once.
Back around 1993/94, a kid I knew murdered his dad’s girlfriend and her son. We hung around the same crowd for a few months beforehand. He was always high strung. I had just left town for basic training when I heard of it. Jason Mann or Mahn I think his name was. Happened in Pensacola. He got the death sentence. No idea if he’s dead now.
My ex-uncle and his wife murdered my aunt in late 1993 exchanging my cousins during visitation. Obviously I met him and had saw his wife once or twice.
So, I’ve met four murderers before I was 20 years old. Wouldn’t be surprised at all to learn of another 4 or 5 I’ve crossed paths with in the last 25 years.

If you rode the subway in New York or metra in Chicago you can hit that number by lunchtime on a random Tuesday.
