Would love to see that number for a person who lives in New Orleans east.

Was just thinking that I've lived in BR and Nola 40 of 42 years. Those are probably rookie numbers compared to some of us

What is your definition of "meet?"
stand next to in a grocery aisle, sit beside at a movie theater, etc.

That's a pretty loose definition of meeting someone. I've also been in tiger stadium and the super dome for sold out games many dozen times. By a possible interpretation of this I may have met 1 million+ people.

At last count, I've personally known four confirmed murderers in my life.

Sadly way above that figure, especially if we count manslaughter. My last cultivation vacation to county had me in with at least 4 people who are now on death row.

Well it's a good thing no one said shite about meeting with name exchanges and numbers, but just walking past or close proximity. Maybe shared a moment..You know the difference.

I feel like this would vary widely by area and region.

It’s not randomly distributed

Well it says average

I would have no idea how they came up with such a number

But I personally have met 2 people that are murderers. One was someone from HS that I've had plenty of run ins with.

Other one was some dude from here

Statistics would be skewed high if we're including people who served in the military and saw combat, no?

Not a gotcha question, I'm just processing it. I've wondered about weird statistical things like this all the time

- how many people in this airport will die within a week?
- how close (in terms of distance) have I come to getting the Coronavirus?
- how many women in here have done a gangbang?
- have I ever shaken a serial killer's hand?

Things like that.

I had a customer, that I used to go see every week, who murdered his partner. When he got out of jail, he bought another store and called me to take care of his advertising there. I saw him every week again for another couple of years.

I went to HS with a guy who ended up killing his wife.

I’m pretty sure we greeted/talked to each other at least a few dozen times, so I’m probably a good bit over.
