The 80's were 40 years ago...

We are now as far away from the 80's as the 80's were from the 40's.
Hard to wrap your head around kids thinking the 80's were that long ago, the same way we viewed the 40's.

Even worse is we're further removed from 2001 than the Wonder Years was from 1969.
