My great uncle has already dropped the n word about 5 times. He is also railing on about communism. Happy thanksgiving from north Alabama.

I am several hundred miles away from my family because exams begin Monday and making the trip back wasn't realistic. I'm flying solo in the booth to give both play-by-play and color commentary on the sad state of the law in today's America.
On deck: Strickland v. Washington, wherein a man, against his lawyer's advice, confessed to two murders, waived his right to trial by jury, pleaded guilty to all charges against him, waived his right to an advisory jury during sentencing, was sentenced to death... and then sued his lawyer for giving him bad advice. Ya hate to see it.

Why does giada pronounce itslian words with a really strong italian accent but normally talks like she’s from Minnesotta?
When she says proschutto it’s like she’s a 5’4” swarthy italian buthcher that’s never been outside of Naples Italy.
She’s hot and has nice cleavage but little things like that make her more of a one night stand than a regular lover for me

Mine will be calm this year.
My biggest drama queen sibling is not coming this year because they “always have to travel the farthest to see family” (they are the ones that chose to move 900 miles away and have no kids)
My biggest drama queen sibling in law is not going to be around either because he is just “too busy to spend hours to eat one meal”. (Also has no children).
So I am excited for some normal family and food.
And Diet Coke.

It is currently the calm before the storm. I am drinking coffee, my wife is asleep, and my son is watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
We will start off the day at my side of the family's Thanksgiving. The food there is usually great but I have to deal with my uncle. He hasn't said a nice word to me as long as I have been alive. We will not be there long.
Then we drive an hour to my wife's side for Thanksgiving. They will be too busy infighting to worry about me. I will probably just play football with the nieces and nephews. The food there is usually terrible so I will politely eat as little as possible.
