How bad are you suffering? Hope you feel better. I can handle severe acute pain pretty well but 100 degree fever completely whips my arse.

This toothy, bird-beaked chick has some nice knockers.

We will start off the day at my side of the family's Thanksgiving. The food there is usually great but I have to deal with my uncle. He hasn't said a nice word to me as long as I have been alive. We will not be there long.

Well, part one at my side of the family is done. Here is how the conversation went with me and my uncle.
Uncle: "I can tell money has been good for you. You have gotten fat."
Me: "Oh, how you doin? So, are you still cheating on your wife? "
That was it. We stayed an hour.

We were planning on going to Tampa for thanksgiving. My SIL has the flu so I told my wife we weren’t going. My wife has been sick for a week and my daughter has a cold. Both their immune systems are weak due to the virus they both have. Willingly going into a home that has the flu is retarted. My wife is not happy and has already made no less than 5 comments about it today.

One year I witnessed something like that..The slightly chunky guy's wife ripped into the attacker..It was pretty good the whole room went quite and the attacker's face turned red. She said something like how he treated his wife like shite and that she should leave him..

Nobody but my wife heard what I said to him so he basically just avoided me the rest of the time. But my uncles son (who also recently got caught cheating on his wife) decided during the meal that it was the perfect time to tell his wife she was talking too much. The death stare and silence was gold. They left early too.

Going to my friend's house, she is picking us up. We are cooking the turkey, green beans and mac n' cheese. The SO refused to Uber, so he wasn't going to drink. She offered, party on!

All of wife's family is late, as usual. We send invites, tell everyone the time. Even sandbag a bit bc we know they're usually late. We plan cooking times, oven usage, oil heating time for frying turkey, and that's all fricked up. What the frick are these people doing today? It's not like there's anything open or anything else to do. It would be nice to have some company out by the fryer with me beer.

Turkey will be done in 20 minutes.

Myself, my wife, and my dog. Drinking red wine watching the Lions drive on the Bears and Mitch Trubitchky.

We got Turkey, dressing, sweet pot casserole, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, gravy, cookies, pecan pie, ice cream.

Just us 3, couple thousand miles away from family. Facetimed and phoned with the parents this morning. Miss them, but being alone is nice. Seems like everyone in our neighborhood went away as well. I like the quiet right now.

This has been one of the best thanksgiving for me. Possible because it’s just me, my wife, and two dogs. First time in years haven’t had a houseful. Have over 15 people staying with my for Christmas. Will think how relaxing this was for days during that time

It is super nice to not have to worry about anything. I miss my parents and sister and brother in law, but no worrying about whose children I'll have to entertain, no being fake to relatives I don't care for, no strange guests that my 3rd cousin invited over, no anxiety about strange cars pulling up, no political bullshite.

Just some light music, red wine, food, and football. It's so nice.

Good luck with Christmas.

I hosted this year but didn’t have to cook anything, luckily everyone ate light and had to leave for other plans so I have a quiet house and fridge full of food and my Black Friday shopping is done 24 hours early.

Did give a family member in HR some shite because well, HR sucks but he chose the Toby life, so Gobble Gobble.

We have a new report

Whelp, kicked an in-law out of my house alreadyPosted by TDsngumbo ? ? on 11/28/19 at 3:18 pm

She verbally attacked my wife in MY house. It’s one thing to do that in general but don’t come into my house and do it. I feel bad that things escalated the way they did but my wife is my queen. Hopefully we amend things soon.

Happy Thanksgiving, fellas.

My kids live out of town and due to in law obligations of the newly married I am having dinner with them tomorrow night (lasagna). So we told my mom and my mil we were staying home today. Hubs and I watched the parade (and spent "quality time" together so maybe next year he will remember this is way better than going elsewhere. The regular football crew will be here tonight for the saints game so I am cooking traditional sides to go with a fried turkey I purchased. Since it is at our house we can drink since we are not driving. They all ate lunch elsewhere so I am thinking there will be leftovers
