I feel like this would have not gotten downvoted 30 times pre Covid. Seems like even staunch conservatives and libertarians aren’t abiding by this mantra anymore.

It doesn't even make sense. No one inside is any safer because customers are vaccinated, even the fkn cdc is admitting that.

This.
This.
This.

Vaccinated People May Spread the Virus, Though Rarely, C.D.C. Reports

Yeah they said vaccinated people spreading it rare.

The vaccines remain powerfully effective against severe illness and death, and the agency said infections in vaccinated people were comparatively rare.

You can still SPREAD THE VIRUS if you are vaccinated! Anybody can spread any virus....

These people are idiots and are pandering to the scared LIBS.

If you feel safer because evryone in the restaurant is vaccinated, you are stupid!

So why are they saying vaxxed people have to wear masks now?

And why should I trust the CDC who did frickall in 2019 to stop this coming into the US?

Seriously, what were these people doing in November 2019?

We find no difference in viral loads when comparing unvaccinated individuals to those who have vaccine "breakthrough" infections. Furthermore, individuals with vaccine breakthrough infections frequently test positive with viral loads consistent with the ability to shed infectious viruses. Our results, while preliminary, suggest that if vaccinated individuals become infected with the delta variant, they may be sources of SARS-CoV-2 transmission to others.

Among the 469 cases in Massachusetts residents, 346 (74%) occurred in persons who were fully vaccinated

I don't have an opinion one way or the other as I am certainly no expert, but how are there exact polar opposite stories circulating right now? No wonder people are confused as hell.

This reminds me of the “colored not allowed signs”... I guess private business can bring that back according to your logic.

You can’t deny based on race, dummy. What a stupid argument.

What if the sign said?

“No Rednecks or Ghetto Trash Allowed”

That wouldn’t be racist.

If you use that logic that federal assistance dictates policy for compliance for the best interest of the general public then anyone who got a stimulus check, extra unemployment, rental assistance, government subsidized health insurance, food stamps, etc should be mandated to get the vaccine.

I’ve thought about that. They’d NEVER vote something so decisive to their loyal followers.

Because the second example isn't absurd.
