You aren’t concerned about this former employee sharing this information?

my general answer is that i have kept in contact with plenty of former coworkers that left under less than friendly terms, but i specifically do not talk about my current work environment with them.

i have a great (but far from perfect) workplace and i'd rather any sort of paper (or digital) trail of me complaining about things not exist.

Ah. You're one of those.

1. This is why I only drink with coworkers from companies I’ve left. Not former coworkers of current company.

2. You’ve burned the bridge of a potential reference.

You need an inpatient alcohol treatment program. At least we would get a break from your shitty thread topics

I'd be afraid he has all your test message history personally. What's stopping him from sharing that history with the company?

People have GOT to learn that texting should only be used to pass factual, non-inflammatory information. Like 'What time is our tee time Saturday?' Or, 'I'm running 15 min behind. Bad Traffic.' That's it.

We’ve maintained a ‘text’ friendship ever since.

That’s pretty much what our relationship centers around is bitching about the company.
Texts and emails last forever and can be forwarded to your worst enemy at any time.

If you're bitching about your current company by text to a former employee you deserve to be fired too.

OP is a known troll and shite starter but if this is the rare case of him being on the level and it came back to bite him in the arse it would be hilarious justice

Sounds like you aren’t really friends if all you talk about is a company.

You fkd up here compadre. Sharing continuing workplace issues with a disgruntled ex co-worker can only result in bad.

You could tell him that you're sorry about continually bitching to him then directly insulting him. Maybe chalk it up to stress and poor decisions

For future reference this is the appropriate way to handle things so you don't get caught in same BS as our OP here
