I'll purposely travel to Texas this summer. I want to give them some of my money.

And meanwhile ... in Louisiana ...

Bill to penalize 'sanctuary cities' fails in Louisiana House

quote:

Taking aim at New Orleans, the Republican-controlled Louisiana House fell six votes short of advancing a bill to penalize so-called "sanctuary cities" that limit cooperation with immigration authorities. The measure by Republican Rep. Valarie Hodges would have fined sanctuary cities and stripped them of state funding.

It needed 70 votes but only got 64. Thirty-two lawmakers were opposed. A two-thirds vote was required because the legislation included civil fines.

Attorney General Jeff Landry backs the bill, saying sanctuary cities harbor violent criminals.

You know, I've never gone to Mexico and been indignant when a cop wanted to see my papers.

This is what happens when people invade another country. Its happening in places all over Europe as well. But libs misdirect their outrage.

If a family has their house/property trespassed on and they put up a sign that says "No Trespassing", would the ACLU come down on the family?

I show my papers (ID) all the time. I not only do I show them to the police on occasion I show them to the grocery store cashier, airline clerk, and many others. What's the big deal?

I've been stopped by border patrol in Texas. Clearly spoken English was all they needed to hear.

Illegal arrests and racial profiling?!?!?!?! Hasn't that happened for like forever across the country?

And show papers???? You mean like when I have to show my DL if a cop pulls me over? Those papers?

When a Mexican cop asks you for papers, they mean money.
