I do not like that Glock trigger safety. I know all the arguments for it. I still don't like it.

Glocks don't just fire, he pulled the trigger, WHILE it was pointed at his friends head. How stupid could he be? Or his parents? Had he ever handled or fired a weapon?

Most conservatives have numerous guns, yet have never shot anyone.

Maybe the problem lies with the people you share a political party with.

So for anyone that doesn’t know the situation, and before everyone talks shite without knowing, here is what happened.

One of Kip’s best friends, I won’t mention his name because this has been very very unimaginably hard on this kid, had a Glock that his parents had given him to carry in his truck. While at the parade, he got it out to show Kip and it fired, shooting him in the neck. The teen that had the gun was taken to the police station and after several hours, they released him to his family.

I don’t know age of the friend with the gun, but Is there an age limit to keep a handgun in vehicle?

I thought in Texas it was 21 (for handguns along with open carry) or licensed to carry (concealed which can be gotten by age of 18 if in military), but I am even less sure on Louisiana’s age limit for handgun storage in vehicles.

Actually we should pass a law banning people from killing each other. We could call it murder.

Wait.

OK smartass, explain to me why a drunk driver that kills someone and gets out of prison, is able to get a DL and another car. I wont hold my breath on your explanation.

Texas teenager shot and killed at Shreveport Mardi Gras parade - multiple shootings by ronk
I am 100% for zero guns if all black residents were searched for guns first. That won’t happen though.
.. Wrong thing to do. Not all black people are thugs. Most probably are, but not all. It's a racial thing I get it, but there's some great black people that don't think like the majority. Morgan Freeman should be their idol but no. They rather look up to trash rappers.

I hate that I was right. So sad man.

so may be worth looking at this one up as more of what happens where the worst elements of society and local teenagers both attend an event. So put on that vest and carry your protection down in NOLA where its even worse.

His parents should have sprung for some gun safety classes along with the glock. That should never have happened the way you described it.

I believe it is illegal for a minor to be in possession of a handgun in Louisiana unless they’ve completed a hunter’s safety or firearms course.

There are a few other exceptions like going hunting or target practice, but a safety course would also be required to obtain a hunting license.

this seems to be a clear case of white on white violence, but yet somehow black people are inserted into the discussion.

Nope. I disagree. If you aren't in prison you should be able to own a firearm.

I explained it in this thread. And I'm 100% for any person of age, that is not in a mental facility or prison, to own a firearm. No ifs ands or buts about it. That's exactly how it should be and if you're against that, then you're against the constitution.

If guns were illegal they would be like drugs. Would be everywhere and only criminals would possess them.

Yeah, cause it's unconstitutional.

Search everyone or search no one.
