quote:Jennifer Lynn Rossi, 45, was angry after her 10-year-old son told her his Prime energy drink had been stolen one day at Legacy Traditional School – Alamo Ranch in northwest San Antonio, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
A Texas mom made a nauseating drink for her son’s school bully and was jailed Tuesday after the 11-year-old child ended up in the hospital.
quote:When the accused bully took a swig during gym class, he quickly developed a headache and felt nauseous, police said. The child was taken to a local hospital.
Police said Rossi responded by mixing a drink with lemon juice, salt, vinegar and Gatorade, which she told her son to give to the boy who stole his drink
quote:Sometimes lessons are learned the hard way
“Rossi admitted to making the mixture…stating the child stole [her son’s] drink and was bullying him,” the charging document reads. Rossi was charged with injury to a child because the 11-year-old boy was hospitalized. She posted $1,000 bail and was released Wednesday, according to online court records

Florida needs to step up their game. Texas has taken over for the craziest state these days

Guilty, but I gotta say I’m Team Mom here. Nothing deadly in that concoction. I’d say the bully played a stupid game, so he wins a stupid prize.

Messed up by telling her son to give the bully the drink. Now, if she had made that for her son, and the bully just happened to steal it again and drink it, that's on the bully. Still probably ends up arrested and sued either way.

Sounds like a good marinade.

Right... I'm sure that's all she put in it. A swig of those ingredients in any combination wouldn't do anything.

I've seen kickers fake falls more believable than this shite.

Moms were hotter and bullies were tougher back in the day.

What 10 year old kid needs an energy drink ?
Also,, those purported added ingredients just look nasty, not all that harmful (NOT excusing her, quite the opposite. It needs to be delved into more in case she is "forgetting" an ingredient ). So, I would guess they are analyzing the drink, if it was not immediately tossed.

Why does a 10 year old need an energy drink at school?
I assume the 11 year-old went to the hospital as a precaution because no one had any idea what he may have ingested? Add to the fact that she thought this would be ok, no one could believe her it was only lemon juice, salt, vinegar and Gatorade.

What is she doing?!
Never give 10 and 11 year olds energy drinks.

At worst, the kid might get bubble guts.

One sip of Gatorade with vinegar isn’t going to cause headaches. The thief kid and parents seem like horrible people

For real. Sounds like a harmless prank (although it shouldn't have come from a parent obviously).
