Yes, we’re all aware that the black areas of the southeast are shitholes lol

Are you going to retire to Memphis or relocate your family to New Orleans East?

1,700 bucks to live in Panama?? This either better be a hell of a spread or they are getting absolutely arse raped by their new “friends”. here is a 3k sq ft home that would have suited their budget better.

How many stories have we seen over the last 5 years from this board’s region?

20 year old girl strangled to death while out for a jog in your neighborhood.

30 something mom raped and slaughtered while out for a morning jog in Memphis

22 year old girl executed at a railroad crossing in Baton Rouge

19 year old girl got all 3 holes blown out by some teenage hood rats then tossed into the street and turned into road kill 30 seconds later in Baton Rouge.

A dozen 20s-30s somethings turned into road kill NYE in New Orleans

High school kid stabbed to death at a fricking track meet in TX a few months ago

A mother and father stabbed to death on a popular hiking trail last weekend in Arkansas

Probably another dozen or two women and children raped or slaughtered by illegals and hood rats in the SEC territory in addition to these I recall off the top of my head.

This thread is a great example of how retarded many on this board are.

Sure, cherry pick tragic murders. If you want to do that, look at the murder rates in Central American countries versus the US before you start calling people retards. Regardless, murder wasn't my point. My point is the savages that are native to these countries don't value the same things we do. You should be able to walk in a bodega in Honduras and not have to see an armed guard standing watch. You should not have to have armed guards patrolling the entrances to hotels. That's not the case where these dopes moved and claiming they made it because it's safe for their children is retarded.

3rd world. I imagine they have to buy bottle water to drink and cook with. Electricity is probably spotty at best.

As much as we bitch about stuff here, we still live in the best country on this Earth.

5 bedroom house for $1900? Least believable part of the story.

He cut off the next sequence of her cost of living statement, where she explains they went from $1,500 in monthly grocery expense to $400

“Groceries are a lot cheaper here. We were spending around $300 to $400 a week before, and now we spend around $400 — which will last us a month,” she explained.

Yeah it is cheaper but at what cost? I'm not trying to go from eating USDA approved ribeyes to unrefrigerated goat meat and bananas. Congrats on the E.coli.

Panama has double the violent crime rate as Texas.

And, if you're planning to live way out in the sticks and do so somewhere in the US, that violent crime rate difference would would double.

Great if they want to experience a foreign country but to give crime as the reason makes it seem like their main issue is addiction to doomsday 24 hr news cycle, like those Texas weirdos that moved to Russia.

El Valle has about 200 expats living there and is up in the mountains a bit. Think pine forests, where the weather is never too hot or too cold. I've been , and it's not a bad place at all. Being in the mountains in Central America means perfect temperatures.

That's the ticket -- not living in the jungle.

There’s a lot more to this story. Big boy is running from someone he owes money to. And he’s stupid enough to let them do this article about him. Which will inevitably end up with his death. Or, the most likely scenario, this is a totally fake, made up story. Nobody does this. Nobody.

One of the other major differences between life in the Lone Star State and the family’s Panama pad is the cost.
