Their power and influence is waning. All of the tribes spent stupid money to defeat Governor Stitt and they got their asses smacked down.

Anoatubby (Chickasaw) and Batton (Choctaw) were pissed. I live in the Bryan County, home of the huge casino on Hwy 75. Both of the Chickasaw and Choctaw nations are squarely in the crosshairs if Texas allows casinos.

If they put casinos in Texas I’m gonna go broke

Man, I live down the road from the Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK. My wife is the highest level there, some Onyx shite.

Reaching the top tier at Choctaw Casino Resort is quite an accomplishment. The top tier is called Onyx, and requires that a player earns 400,000 over the course of 6 months. We estimate that to reach Onyx in the Choctaw Rewards Players Club program it would take approximately $400,000.00 coin-in through Choctaw Casino Resort slot machines with their players card in 6 months

FML

Edit--that 400,000 sounds weird. She gambles a lot but not THAT big. Maybe that's if you started from scratch. But yeah, when we go it's with a good stack.

Louisiana already fricked over the casinos by dragging their feet opening up sports books. It gave MS and OK a huge leg up and LA has not recovered the lost market share.

This would be the death blow. Bye lake Chuck, Bye Shreveport/Bossier.

Try a black church.

Currently I believe there are a handful of slots type casinos on Indian land in Texas. Wonder how they’re doing?

I had a 6 month project in Tulsa and my team would hit the casinos once a week or so, but I hate the paying for drinks and an antee on every hand (I play blackjack).

In grad school I lived at Lake Beau Bre, right down the street from L'auberge and both my roommate and I were big poker players at the time so that got interesting

Sorry dude, but a couple slot machines and blackjack tables inside the Baytown Buc-ees might just be the best damned idea ever.

Why should only the big actors get gambling rights? If a guy owns a business and he's not a felon, why should he be deprived of a piece of the action.

Louisiana casinos don’t care anymore. With app based sports betting now legal, they are racking in the cash.
