I know you're trying REAL HARD to deflect here, but supplying one picture of one fan in the stands vs. the countless videos and firsthand experiences of thousands of people doesn't quite stack up
If I were an aTm fan, I think I would admit that our yell leaders and practices are a little cringey... But you do you, man

I've been to every game A&M has played in Alex Box since joining the SEC and have not seen this hip bump shite. Probably b/c I sit in LF by the foul pole.

I watched a minute of the “fish camp” thing which I assume is them teaching incoming students “yells”
But serious question
What are these “yells” and where do they come from? This guy is yelling like one or two words and making weird as hell motions. And says “Aggie WOOP” or some shite.
These aren’t football cheers like “Go team go!” Or “Ra Ra Shishboombah” type stuff
He’s shouting nonsense and having a seizure.
Are these like old military yells they decided to make little dances to? The crowd participates and does certain things when the yell guy does certain things. But it isn’t cheering it’s just arbitrary motions.
Like one guy just yelled “T T T T” a bunch of times. Wtf.
I really don’t understand what this is about or where it came from. Honestly.

On a serious note, Louisiana folks are some of the the nicest/kindest people you will ever meet. Dad had LSU tickets on the 50-yard line for several decades and could probably count on my fingers the number of games he missed. God bless Cajun Navy when my house flooded here in Houston during Harvey.
