Any of you have regrets? Advice?
Close to pulling the trigger...thanks!

Zero. Fastest car on the road, coolest car on the road (you can now fart at other cars with the speaker), and it drives itself on the interstate. (I could fall asleep and it would drive safer than I do).

Had an S, 2020 model. It lasted about a year. Air conditioning sucked in summer, kids refused to ride in the back when it was hot. Now that it’s cold, the heater doesn’t work well if on the interstate. Went 120 miles round trip with heater going and went from fully charged at 345 miles down to 81 left on battery when I got home. Traded it the next week for new M550 and don’t regret it.
It is only good for an around town car. Fun to drive but interior is cheap. Do miss the Tesla radio though.

Used? Get an 18 or newer to be able to upgrade to self driving

Thought they would have improved the interior by now. Kind of amazed at how they get away with such a poor quality interior in a 70k car.

No one here has one

Surely they could hire a design firm to do it for them

acceleration is great due to electric
nice cars, but i think they're a bit overhyped
i've seen major QC issues on vehicles that have been delivered
unproven longevity, sure there are some with high mileage but none are older than around 5-10 years, and the model 3 has only been around for like 2 years. Batteries degrade over time
full self driving is just a really good lane assist that costs an extra 8-10k, and who knows if telsa will ever get it to actual "full self driving"
only having the center console screen on the model 3 and model y kinda sucks because it is less ergonomic for a driver than a gauge set behind the steering wheel, it's one of Tesla's cost cutting measures it seems
going on a long road trip would obviously take far longer due to having to wait for charging, and you need to have charging stations in your path, and you need to stay somewhere that has charging stations nearby

Elon Musk needs to buy Volvo. They have the best interiors, they have the safest vehicles. The Polestar is lacking though. Tesla has more market value than Ford right now. He should acquire an outlier luxury brand that is already looking to go electric.

Owned one for 2+ years now (P3D). Wife's car. Love it. Zero issues, no maintenance other than tire rotation, charge at home very easily. Not the fastest car on the road, but damn close... And silently - with amazing traction control. Autopilot is the shiznit for road trips. The car battery may be dead at the end of a long trip, but you won't be. Much less stressful driving experience.
Would repeat the purchase.
