I’ll be driving to Louisiana soon. Should I add half an hour to my drive to stop at Bucees? Is the bucees experience worth the extra 30 minutes?

I honestly didn't know the Cherokee owned that land. I thought they were primarily on the North Carolina side of the mountain. Actually glad to see them involved in something like this.

They have been buying lots of land since they opened up the casinos in Cherokee and Murphy. A few people getting rich up there on the Res while the average person up there lives in shite.

now Sevierville is getting a first of its kind “big store” Bucees.

Biggest Buc-ee's built to date? That's gotta be massive.

Most are between 50K and 60K sq ft, New Braunfels is closer to 68 and the biggest on they have. This will be 74.

That store will be bigger than a walmart. Exit 407 is a great location for it as well. All the traffic on 40 as well as all the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg travelers.

Place will be packed 24/7/365

Will it be built by tomorrow because the Tennessee baseball team will be there to enjoy it.

A Louisiana store won't come until they're in at least 40 other states first.

The Houston one is at least manageable.

You will need to be way more specific, you mean the one in Katy, the one in Baytown, the one in Angleton?

Went to the one in Baytown a while back. The bathrooms were clean. They had someone in there wiping down the sinks.

Very unlike the one I went to in Denton.

I’d so no since it was just announced. Guessing they lost, I don’t keep track of Baseball or UT.

For that matter, which one in Angleton? And don’t forget Pearland.

They were looking at I-10 at Louisiana Ave exit in Lafayette, but that's not happening anymore
They looked at that last large plot at that exit (it floods really bad and is right next to a swamp). They would've had to spend millions for flood detention and it's a hop skip away from some of the worst neighborhoods in Lafayette.
