Could have been us. We live a state over but still can't land a bucees without the locals gov't fricking it up.

Locals fricked it up but that 2016 flooding right where they were about to build sure gave them an excuse.

They could do like Athens, AL and agree to build one off of a road that is a two-lane that hasn't been paved or really kept up in 10 years despite population and traffic increasing at a record pace.

I will never go to the one in Alabama ever again
That was a nightmare with every beach going vacationeer hanging out

The Houston one is at least manageable.

Quite a state we’re in when we’re worried about the state getting another gas station.

Lafayette or Hammond would be a better spot for one

And yet in typical Louisiana fashion, they fricked up the one they had in the bag.

It's going to have to be the biggest. Every swinging dick vacationing in PF is going to be in there.

The people watching will be even better than the one on I-10 in Alabama.

The problem is not about a gas station. The problem is why they told the state to frick off and won't come here . The why affects other businesses that may want to come to Louisiana and don't

They were looking at I-10 at Louisiana Ave exit in Lafayette, but that's not happening anymore

If you can't manage to entice something as simple as "another gas station" what higher shot do you think we could possibly have?

Some of us know the northern approach to that intersection, so will be able to avoid the interstate traffic to give you a report.
I'd expect the Cherokee may expand to North Carolina to their land over there. Maybe.
