It thankfully never got really bad in Knoxville, so I am just ready for this to be done with and honestly people are not taking it serious as it is. Went out today to run a few errands (before I get bashed this is the first time I've went out in like a week) and picked up some quick dinner for the kiddo. The people at Chick Fil A were wearing gloves, touching their masks and then handling food. Good job guys.

Those areas are going to make their own decisions because they have their own health department. Knox County is undoubtedly going to open up. Knoxville proper might not, but they probably will as well. There's no reason not to.

once people realize the gross number of infection is going to be about the same (without a vaccine), they will understand

I love that Knox County is tracking illness onset as best as possible. Knox County Health Department
At the bottom it's graphed by onset, which is far more useful and revealing than total cases.
And Knox County is about the same size and density as EBR... but we aren't as close to NOLA Mardi Gras.
