I have a job opportunity there and know nothing about it. I'm married w/ two kids and we've lived in BTR our whole lives. Any insight or opinions about schools, neighborhoods, culture etc.. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've lived in Mandeville for the past 20 years. The schools are great, no need to send kids to private school. The cost of living is higher but it's worth it.

Take it and move ASAP. It is the perfect city to raise a family. Public schools are top notch and there are lots of private school options as well. Lots of nice neighborhoods along both causeway approaches and the surrounding area. You will not regret the move.
