$20 in 1985 is about $50 adjusted for inflation, which is about what an upper deck ticket would cost at a large arena today.

Oh I know. I was one of those teenage long haired headbangers in the 80s.

Been seeing lots of younger black chicks with these.

I noticed this recently too. 3 young black girls with Nirvana shirts on in separate stores. Gotta be a new trend

I have a sweet Motley Crue bandana from the Girls Girls Girls tour that's been sitting in storage for about 35 years - I think all my AC/DC and Crue t-shirts are long gone though - I haven't worn a t-shirt of any kind in a very long time

I kinda enjoy seeing people wearing old school rock t-shirts - IDK - I think it's cool - brings back a lot of memories from the 80s

My son just turned 21.he got a new Led Zeppelin t for his birthday. He got a new turn table for Christmas and loves to shop for old classic rock vinyl.
My daughter just turned 18 (no pics) and plays softball and her walk up song in HS was Tom Sawyer.

Those 3 mentioned aren't close to being metal. Might as well wear a Poison or Winger shirt

You're putting GnR and Metallica in the same category as Poison?

Metallica has sucked since 1989. They sold out its fans. What size WASP or Stryper shirt you wear?

Almost annoying as the hoodie-in-100-degree-weather trend

Except it really isn't.

It's no different then when I wore a Pink Floyd shirt in the 90s as a teen. Or a Ramones t-shirt. Never saw either live but grew up around their music.

Well Poison always sucked - so there

Poison wasn't even Metal - they were a pop band with some Metal influence.
