I still think “natural ebb and flow” is a remarkably convenient and soft description of an intentional culturally driven spike in self-identification. litigate away this dumb comment too tho.

Yup, and yet practically none of them would have called themselves bi. Then as homosexuality has become more accepted, you had a generation of young girls think “huh, I like making out with my friends; I must be bi” and then a few years later realizing “actually, nah, not really into chicks, never mind”. And that’s being touted as evidence that homosexuality isn’t innate

I've spoken to my daughter and former students about this. The girls say that most males are not worth the trouble. It's not the highly selective social media stuff; It is that we have turned males into perpetual littlw boys, more worried about video games than academics, sports, or girls.
