$400 worth of beer/booze, and $400 worth of crawfish/etc. Have a boil as a team and get drunk and eat the crawfish.
Next week you can assess the boil and any changes to be made for next years team building boil.

This...every attempt at "teambuilding" has felt forced and come during personal time. People don't need to be friends to work together.

Good suggestion for Top Golf already. Going to lunch and then the Fairgrounds Race Track in Nola.
A seafood boil works as well

One of those escape room places. It’s fun and you have to work together to get out

Our company actually sent a group of us from La. to North Carolina at a nascar training facility to work in a mock pit crew as a team building exercise. The plan was for other groups to follow after our trip.
After getting the bill for our trip, the subsequent trips were canceled!
It turns out the head manager was a big Dale Earnhardt fan and convinced corporate it was a good idea!

Maybe rent out the presidential suite of a hotel and have group sex? The kinkiness level can be up to you and what you feel the group would like/can handle.
And then if the room has some sort of buffet or large countertop make a big punch bowl and beside it have plenty of light hors d'oeuvres for people to snack on to have them some energy but not get too full because y’all will be busy and you don’t want anybody to feel bloated or get a cramp.
Ask the hotel staff if you can get lots of fresh towels beforehand and lay those out. This will help everyone clean the sweat off if they need it and for the girls (or guys too I guess, I’m not judging here) to wipe the nut off them.
If y’all do decide to go for kinkiness make sure to establish a safe word and have every person repeat it. Also since this is work related I would establish boundaries as well. There should be no violence and I know you can’t go back and make sure none of them get unruly and violent during intercourse by calling old girlfriends etc, it’s still a good idea to sort of lay down the law beforehand along with the safe word.
Beyond that I’d say you guys just have a good time. It should really help with the team building and getting to know each other etc.

Give them each $100, and tell them, "Good going, Team!"
