I didn't see anything about her possibly being charged in that link.
That is because the quote was from the interim supt. He does not have the authority to charge her with Jack Squat.

Interim superintendent David Eubanks told The State that Arthur might also be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
And he's the one who should be losing his job.

This reminds me of the story in the movie Liar Liar where the burgular falls throw the ceiling and lands on a knife that cuts him open, then sues the homeowner and wins.
frick that dude. How can you be so idiotic yet hold a position like this?

The reason author suggests it and references this article which doesn't come close to saying that.
You do understand he's quoting the interim superintendent, correct? No formal charges have been discussed yet.
Hence the reason everyone in the thread is calling the superintendent stupid.

quote:So anything you have in your home is ok to have at work?
A kid breaks into your house and finds a personal video of you and your lady/man doing the deed. Would you be charged then? This is no different.
If you don't agree, that's a bad analogy.

What if the images were on the cloud and not actually present on the phone just linked?

Pics were on her phone. Blaming the teacher is beyond idiotic. WTF is wrong with people?

The phone is still private property, is it not? If you disagree, the analogy went WAY over your head.

You'd be amazed at how many girls have a folder for naked pics on their phone.
Posted on 3/2/16 at 12:20 pm to shel311
If the kid got on her internet browser on her phone and looked at porn, should she be charged for that as well?
Posted on 3/2/16 at 12:20 pm to RB10
can you link the quote where he said this?
because it isn't this:
"I think we have a right to privacy, but when we take inappropriate information or pictures, we had best make sure it remains private,"

Scruffy hopes she drops the hammer on the school and this kid gets burned at the metaphorical stake.

Unlike you, apparently, I don't need everything spelled out for me. I can see where he was going with that quote.

Hope she gets paid, big time

Separately from policies/legalities, I just don't get how a teacher could be that dumb/naive to be a teacher of a-hole teenagers who leaves her phone unattended and not locked(assuming).

oh, that wasn't meant as a "germans" kind of post. just that the arguments yesterday made me tired.
