This is one of the reasons having kids scares me. My oldest is about to start school, I can't imagine how frustrating it is for a parent to fight this lunacy when the school system is trying to teach shite that goes against your core beliefs and is not backed by logical reasoning.

I'm not gonna read that shite but this is the problem with a 24 hour global news cycle with not enough news that matters to fill it.
I don't know where this happened and I don't care. But I do know that when shite like this reaches a certain segment of our lazy minded masses, it turns into "the liberals are taking over"!! "They're gonna ruin this country and destroy the world"!!
Blah blah blah. Yada yada yada.
Almost 8 billion people on this planet and there's so little going on in the world that matters. So little in fact, this insignificant thing becomes a linkable news story.
I'm glad this kid got kicked out of class and I'm glad a story was written about it. It proves this point.
Starve the masses of information, like North Korea and you can keep the population ignorant and controllable.
Or as in the case of the United states. Bombard the masses with useless information and you can also keep them ignorant and controllable.
Whenever you frickers buy into stupid shite like this. You're being bamboozled.

I mean I completely agree with you, as do many others I’m sure.
But it is funny to me how many people clamor for logical reasoning and science in these situations, and then are against things like gay marriage because of a magic creature in the sky.
