I know someone always asks the question but has this always been happening? Were kids just quiet about it in the past? Did parents and police keep it under wraps to avoid embarrassment?
Are they just getting busted more because of social media. Certainly the advent of cell phones with cameras give the whores an easier way to make horrible choices but I really wonder if some of the high school rumors were true back when I was in high school 1000 years ago.

I’m sure these crimes have always happened and sometimes the woman were probably even arrested in the past. But 30 years ago, you wouldn’t have heard about the woman’s arrest unless you or your child actually attended the school where the woman taught. Today, in contrast, you can read online about some woman teacher who lives 500+ miles away from you who got arrested for statutory rape.

I graduated HS in ‘95 and the only semi attractive teacher I had for 18 years was a French teacher in 10th grade. She got fired for f’ing a student. All it takes is one weak moment as hungry high schoolers are hitting on them every day. Hell, we placed bets on who could hit it.
