A 26-year-old teacher who went missing on her way home from a Halloween party was found dead in a creek in a posh Colorado ski town, according to officials and a local report.

Margo Taryn Khalili left a party in Vail Village around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and took a bus home to East Vail, but authorities haven’t been able to determine what happened after she got off the bus, ABC 7 Denver reported.

Khalili’s wasn’t the first body to turn up in Gore Creek this year.

The body of Maldwyn “Maldy” George Zang, 60, was found in the creek on Jan. 16, Vail Daily reported.

Isnt it pretty easy to fall into those creeks? I could see her being drunk and wandering off.

Hmmmm... Is this connected to the "expelled from Christian school" thread started at roughly the same time?

one article's quote
She lived close to the spot where she was found, cops told the station.

Another article's quote
Dill said that because Khalili did not live in that area of town, their investigation would try to determine what she was doing out there.

Something is fishy.

It's either must've or must have.

The Tigers could have beaten the Tide, but instead got embarrassed by a score of 45-14.

Was it freezing outside that night?
If so, that didn't help

I get she is a teacher - but why do certain professions become the label of a person? She was a young woman at a party who was a teacher.

It’s like saying always referring to your friends as the receptionist or the librarian.

It’s odd when they choose to emphasize the profession over the person in some circumstances but not in others
