I'm actually starting to wonder if this is common everywhere, or is it a Louisiana thing. Pretty much all of these stories, I see here, so there's going to be a Louisiana trend. And I've always chalked it up to that. But lately it's really been kicking up as far as the frequency.

So what I gather from this is that you are okay with a double-standard involving laws pertaining to sexual consent and assault. Either that, or you are excusing the crime because some people don't view the two crimes as equal in severity or malicious intent.

While there might be a vocal majority on the Internet that commends this sort of behavior, congratulates the kid, and lusts for the teacher embodying the role in the Van Halen music video, I can assure that the majority of contemporary society still wishes to vilify and punish the teacher, as they should.

I'm not oblivious to various double-standards involving the two sexes that exist within society. Like it or not feminists, men and women are very different creatures in a multitude of respects. However, I implore the American criminal justice system to try and maintain equality in the court of law when it comes to prosecuting criminals.

Yeah, let's gang up on the poor dude
