Why is it never "student bangs teacher" ?

Because a 14-year-old student does not initiate the sexual relations. Otherwise, that would likely result in assault charges on the part of the student.

The crime taking place is the adult teacher engaging in a sex act with a minor. Because the teacher commits the crime, the headline or description involves the criminal action, 'banging the student', carried out by the teacher.

Makes more sense than putting them in prison and ruining their lives through sex offender registration.

But that's what they are. Just like if an adult male were to engage in sexual relations with an under-aged female. Also, let's not forget that she is in a position of authority over the student.

There are plenty of adults who are more than willing to engage in sexual relations with you if you so desire. Plus, if the charges are legitimate and she did indeed cheat on her fiance with a 9th-grader then she clearly possesses some sort of psychological disorder regarding sexual behavior and should therefore be unfit to work with minors.

The law should apply to both sexes. People who use male libido and teenage sex drive as an excuse to justify this behavior are ridiculous.

Seeing as she went to ULM I feel like she's taken the same professional writing class I have with the same teacher. I just had to make a PowerPoint like that a week or so ago.

It ain't hard to define.

Wow. I went ahead and bought the high ball glasses they had on their registry and had them delivered straight to them. Put a note in there saying "Jesse, looks like you could use these right about now".

If you would have included some vodka or bourbon, that would have been even better.
