Nobody knew how AIDS was transmitted in the very early days, TBH. In the very early eighties it was believed to be though sexual interaction, but infected children were barred from attending school because of the uncertainty.

So is this John Scalzo a made up teacher? the LSUbarstool account just posted another email from the same guy but it was Scalzo announcing he is quitting teaching because its too hard.

Maybe, it looks legit though as it's a picture from whatever blackboard website the school uses now.
Just seems weird they would use the same guys name as earlier to make a fake email about quitting, especially considering the email isn't humorous. Just him saying he's quitting

Bruh, I've heard this from coworkers with kids in the fricking class. The professor basically just told them that he's not going to be teaching the class and they're all going to get a W. This can actually have major implications for engineering students in the lock-stepped curriculum.
