Everything about Swift is fake, phony, tacky, and self aggrandizing. I’m as “librul” as they come but this is nothing more than commercialized nonsense. It’s just super weird. And it’s not the way to generate support for the LGBTQ community. Not that I claim to be any great expert.

In my experience, it's the latter, but the gays get blamed. It's all just a political tool. No one cares about them other than to say "I support the gays and you don't so I'm better."
I'm just making sure the blame goes where it's deserved. It's the corporations and celebrities pandering, not the gay people who just want to feel normal.

I was in a waiting room full of oil field baws when Good Morning America showed the premiere of this music video. The look of disgust on their faces while being forced to sit in silence and watch almost made my own suffering tolerable. The issue I have is that the song is so fricking terrible I seriously considered getting up to turn the tv off several times.
