I would hardly even call them SJW. Social media has a way of making everyone play it safe. Posting a photo you and your white women friends with love is love shirts, is a layup for people.
They aren’t necessarily SJW, they are just attention whores.

Half my friends work in the music business, some of them very connected to artists, and I've literally never heard that. Not once. And we talk about industry rumors/drama all the damn time.

And I fricking loathe Taylor Swift. I've heard plenty of negative things about her, but never the gay rumor.

I get why gay folks would be annoyed by it, but some of the quotes from the people upset about did come off highly pretentious and douchey. I think people are hung up on the language they used.
But I get why they're not big fans of the video. I wouldn't be if I was gay.
