If Republicans were smart, they would pander hard to Latinos, many of whom hold very conservative values. This would secure Texas, Arizona and Florida, and maybe help turn the tide in California. They won’t appeal to that voting block though because the party is a joke.

In the last year the Democratic Party has:
- Brought SCOTUS pick into a hearing over fake rape allegations 30 years ago.
- Impeached a sitting president over? (does anyone know?)
- Replaced the leading vote receiver of the Primaries with a corpse
- Laughed at the President about stopping flights from China in February.
- Lambasted those protesting lockdowns while ignoring BLM protests weeks later.
- Advocated for abolishing, defunding, or shifting funds away from police departments. While violence in their cities skyrockets.
- Excused and outright sympathize Antifa and anarchist rioting, looting, and even damaging federally protected buildings and tearing down statues of the men who built this country.
Now, which party is a joke again? GTFO

There's a company in the North DFW area which markets to conservatives fleeing California. (They would have expanded to Minneapolis, Portland, and Seattle, but you could put the number of conservatives in those cities in one minivan.)

Collin County (a very popular destination for Californians) would disagree.
Between 2012 and 2016 the number of GOP voters for President increased by just over 4,000. If you factor in that a lot of voters figured Texas was a safe state and voted for 3rd parties, the number of 3rd party voters increased during that same time by around 17,500.
The number of Democrat voters for President jumped by almost 40,000 during that same time frame. This is 10,000 more new Democrat voters than neighboring Denton County which has two liberal universities within its borders.
With the exception of 1992 and the home-state phenomenon of Ross Perot, Collin County hadn't had less than 60% GOP voting since 1968, the first year it crossed over from Dem to GOP plurality support (and even then you had the 3rd party George Wallace phenomenon affecting things).
Until 2016 when it fell to just over 55%, a nearly 10% drop over 2012.
