Interesting but this draft thing happens every year. And the 53 man roster doesn’t affect the 16 man squad team as far as I understand it.

So what’s stopping him from still signing as an undrafted free agent and being the scout QB?
ETA: I bet his NIL deal was more than a practice squad player is paid and he could still do the practice squad thing. Actual sounds like a win win.
Assuming this really happened, it sounds like a kid that made a quick emotional decision he regrets or he just doesn’t enjoy football anymore and is trying to make an excuse for it.
But more likely just sounds like some bs someone on a message board made up.

Ask mom for a divorce and to take it easy on you: keep all assets, no alimony, wave child support, etc.
You get to keep kids and everything and mom gets another 30 years tacked on plus younger self. Sounds like a win win.

Posted by The Rodfather on 2/3/22 at 4:38 pm to Tvilletiger
I use to love the idea of having one game a year in the Cow Palace. Have a Louisiana opponent and use retro unis. Thought it would be awesome.
Until I went in there this past year. The place is in absolute shambles. No ac/heat to speak of, stagnant air, ceiling falling apart, seats are in shite shape, no scoreboard, PA system completely obsolete if even working, I could go on.
Just to put a floor in the place, make it comfortable to sit through a game, and scoreboard / PA you are looking at way more money spent than a game would bring in. That isn't to even speak to concessions and logistics of entry / exit and parking. Not to mention the lost of ticket sales. (6,750 seats compared to 13,200 seats in the PMAC)
The thought is awesome and would be a fun idea, but the money is so much better spent elsewhere for improvements and game day experience.

Only a couple rounds are talked about and I doubt we see anything until the military makes their decision.
If they choose the fury it is going to be good for the round and basically guarantee it’s success but will make availability a long way out. They will have to supply the military with their orders before we ever get to see the round. If the military doesn’t choose it we should get ammo way sooner BUT the round will be more likely to die in the vine and never be produced. So who knows.

Not really. The western is loaded with much heavier bullets and because of the case design the fury has much better magazine capacity.
re: 277 Fury

What is actually exciting about the 277 fury is that SAAMI has approved / designated it. They had to make a new process for the higher pressures.
But now that they have other cartridges may be made in it. So you could end up with a 7mm-08 Fury that has the ballistics of the 7 mag or 7 wsm. And so on.

Won’t be in the m4s. It is based on a 308 and is going to be in a purpose built Sig rifle.
OP. I don’t know if / when announcements will be made but supposedly it is on the shortlist / last 2 still being evaluated.

re: 277 Fury

It has a bimadel case to handle higher pressure. So instead of ~<65,000 psi it is handling ~80,000 psi.
Basically has the same ballistics of a 270 win out of a 24” barrel, but it is doing that out of a 16” barrel. Theoretically you would be close to the 270 wsm when using a standard 22-24” barrel.
Hopefully that made sense. Essentially due to the higher pressures it mirrors the 270win but in a much shorter package.

This. Plus you have to have the plans on file and receive a permit. If they have less than 300 acres then they most definitely do not have the permit for a high fence.

And that is my problem. I don’t mind spending the money on a really good quality release. But you can’t get a good feel for it at the pro shop. You have to put sometime behind it and they are cost prohibitive to try a bunch out. I can’t keep buying and selling / giving them away until I find one I like. I have tried probably 7-8 from different friends and family but that isn’t even the tip of the iceberg for what is out there.

One of the ones I’ve been trying out was the choc. addiction 4 finger. I want to try the 3 finger version of it. It is a damn smooth release. Feels awesome. It is just large with the 4 finger when letting it hang from my d-loop.

What release you archery folk shooting? I’m looking for a new release and have always shot index / wrist releases but have been trying some thumb releases as of recent. I really like the shooting experience of the index release but hate wearing it and the cumbersome nature of them.
Leaning towards a Carter thumb release in 3-finger but not completely sold yet.
What you go and how do you like it?

That odd not how this works. You pay what someone is worth and what they will accept. They wouldn’t come otherwise and it doesn’t cause “distrust”, they just wouldn’t sign the contract and come here.

He most likely fed power through the ground and sent 240v through your house where only 110v should be, overpowering most of your electronics. Hence the low voltage transformer being friend and the light (presumably that were on) blew.
Now he is talking about the loose ground “being left loose” because he talked to someone that knows what happened and wants to come clean it up first. Have someone else inspect it too just to have documented proof in case sensitive electronics need repair / replace.
A/C should be ok, changing bulbs will fix everything else, fridge may need repair, but most everything else should be ok. The wire doesn’t care what the voltage was (it should be rated to at least 600v) it only cares about amperage and most things (that blew) likely protected that.

On top of that, this was technically Trump's plan back in May.
This is the dumbest talking point of the whole ordeal. People are using this as some kind of "gotcha" moment, like it absolves the current admin from the massive fubar that is happening.
There is no way Trump would have pulled out forces while leaving behind all the non-military US citizens, Afghans that helped, files naming assets, and military equipment.
Also, do you believe that Super Bowl 55 has the same outcome if you replace the Tampa staff with the 2017 Cleveland Browns staff as long as they had Tampa's plan?
Execution of a plan is as important or more than the plan itself.

but is any area better than others in general terms,
This is a Ford vs Chevy topic. People swear by where they fish the most or grew up fishing.
I grew up fishing Grand Isle and have never fished Venice.
I have also taken 4 charters to big lake. Each one was 4-5 boats and two days. I haven’t even caught a half a limit adding them all up. Been straight skunked two days in a row on two of the trips.
I have also had bad trips to grand isle, but I have NEVER been skunked two days in a row when fishing on my own and never been skunked with a guide in grand isle.
If you want to go and have the closet thing to a guarantee of catching fish, my suggestion is grand isle. But rumor has it Venice is the place for big specks and Big Lake use to be the place for big specks.
