Tarsha DENIED motion for new judge

Tarsha wants nothing to do with Judge Don Johnson but her hearing goes nowhere. I can't wait for this to come to court. Unfortunately, I expect her to withdraw this ludicrous suit any day. I was hoping to hear why she believes the family defamed HER when they caught her trying to steal from them.

A retired New Orleans judge denied a request Wednesday from Council on Aging Executive Director Tasha Clark-Amar for an outside judge to hear her defamation lawsuit in place of State Judge Donald Johnson.
Clark-Amar filed a defamation lawsuit one year ago against the family of Helen Plummer, who accused the Council on Aging head of wrongly influencing the elderly Plummer into leaving Clark-Amar money from her estate. Plummer died last year.
Clark-Amar’s lawsuit was originally assigned to her mother, state Judge Janice Clark before Clark recused herself. Every other judge in the 19th Judicial District courthouse followed suit with the exception of Johnson.

I don’t think much of Judge BACS, but I find it odd Tarsha doesn’t want him as judge.
There a rivalry between the shitty judges on the 19th JDC?

All part of the witch hunt and acquisitions

Huh? What do purchases have to do with this case?
Do you mean "accusations"?

Someone paid for them. Just wasn’t their money to spend.

Good question.
Most of the panel probably recused due to the appearance that they would show favoritism given they have worked with Judge Clark.
Not sure how Don kept from doing so nor why Tarsha was fighting to keep him from presiding.
Frankly, I’d want to leave it in the 19th on general principle since Tarsha was hardcore about it being there while mommy was judge.
If she was so concerned about the 19th hearing this, she should have motioned for it to be heard by a different court while mommy was still over the case.

They probably realized it would be better if this guy slapped Tarsha's fatass back down.

Name is Don Johnson, looks like Phillip Michael Thomas on Atkins.

The OT clearly isn’t your forte

I believe that Tasha was pushing for her mom to keep the case, and her mom didn't want to recuse herself. It took like three months for her to do so.
Don Johnson was openly calling out Tasha's mom for not recusing herself, saying it was misconduct and he wanted her reviewed by a panel for misconduct.
That is what I remember, and I don't have a good memory, so TIFWIW

He apparently has the balls to stand up to these crooks and is not scared of them.
Or it is all big bluff and he will let the case go her way. Time will tell.

Is a fricking piece of shite.
It really is depressing that we have to have these threads and we all laugh about how stupid, evil, and corrupt these people are. It is just accepted that nearly every person in power is going to be doing some illicit. All the while, citizens opine about why their situation never improves.

I hope this guy treats this trial right and puts her away. We need an honest judge that cleans up after the other crooked judges
