Not true in Louisiana. All the teacher has to do is say stop 3 times. They are not required to physically break up fights

If you try to protect a kid getting beaten, only 2 things are going to happen:
1) You will get injured
2) You may get fired because you will be perceived to be too rough with an aggressor
If you are a white teacher, and the students fighting are black. . .you are just fricked all around. Best to just walk away and stay out of camera view.
I hate that reality. I hate it more than I loved teaching.

If either of those students in the fight are allowed on campus again and I'm a teacher there, I tell EBRP to take my job and shove it up their arse. I don't think I could work at a school that didn't have my back.

There's probably a 90% chance both those students fall under some type of special education, so the reality is if they're expelled from Tara they'll just enroll in another EBR school

Depending on the severity of the injury and potentional settlement this dude will get with workers comp, could be a couple hundred thousand.
Not that school itself will pay that. But the offending party probably won't lose a dime.
