I know a guy who went to a bachelor party in Florida last Spring and took a bunch of edibles in his carry on. He does it all the time and said they don't care.

I smuggled a 15 lb dry cured ham into Saudi Arabia in 1985. Wrapped in plastic, placed at the bottom of the family traveling dirty cloths bag. No way a Saudi would dumpster dive for that ham

Literally nobody got arrested for marijiana at either Seattle, Denver, or Portland airports all of 2020 and 2021 but this chap is scared to death. Relax, Jack. It'll be okay

Edibles are fine. Put em in a ziploc.. the scanners are looking for inorganic material for bombs not your 5mg THC gummies you're bringin back from AZ

Lots of references to Britney Griner but the OP is talking AZ to LA, not Russia. Most any international trip might make me think a little more about it but then again I took some on a recent trip to UK and it was no different than domestic in this regard.

I am as relaxed as can be podnuh, I am in a legal state and grow my own fine bud, so I am good to go. And if I travel and bring some for my friends in goes in my checked luggage in a sealed air tight container. Yeah, you will likely be fine in those airports as well as others in legal states, but proceed with caution if you are landing or connecting in a bible belt or other non-legal state. SLC, IAH, CVG, CLT, ATL, etc. DFW is actually known to have drug dogs in the terminal, so good luck. Just saying...that piece of mind is well worth the extra bag charge for you economy flyers.
