I'm probably just ill informed but I don't get the big deal about painting someone's face black.

It’s very ironic because if you’ve ever been to a Zulu parade and sat in the Grandstands you will realize that half the Zulu riders are racist as frick.

A lot of them will refuse to give a white person a coconut.

The Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club, Inc does many events to service black people and other minorities in the community. While it is predominantly black, approximately 5 percent of its membership is white.

The white members do participate in the 'black up' for the parade, the Advocate reports.

Among them are expected to be more than 100 white riders, including invited sponsors.

While Zulu members estimate that perhaps 5 percent of the krewe’s membership is white, about 1 in 5 riders on its Mardi Gras floats are white.

Zulu Membership versus Zulu Float Riders = long-term financial prospects for the Zulu parade and floats could be in deep trouble when you lose 1/5 of your carnival riders because of fears over blackface.

I'm so tired of race discussions.

The absurd amount of caucasianaphobia going around these days is pathetic.

It’s sad how much hate and racism is in the hearts of SJW’s. The demand for racism by SJW’s and the left far exceeds the supply. They’re desperate to be a victim.

5% of the Zulu Social Aide and Pleasure Club's membership is White.

20% of the carnival riders who ride in Zulu are white. People who ride in the carnival aren't all members of the Club. Regardless its a huge number financially for Zulu which means a lot of people will be seeking other crews to ride because if they are identified it could have a significant financial problem for them and their companies.

I used to work with a co-leader of this rotten group. She’s a transplant so of course she doesn’t understand the satire that is Zulu blackface.
