YES and its created a bad situation over the two years with white people having to resign from their places of employment and face other social media harrasment. The CEO of Tales from the Cocktail was forced to resign because of it two years ago. LINK

Daily Mail article on Zulu blackface woes
Former New Orleans City Councilman and felon Oliver Thomas, who hosts the “Good Morning Show” on WBOK-AM1230, asked his listeners that question Feb. 6. Thomas brought up Zulu, he later said, because he knew Zulu would be called to account for its tradition.
Thomas — who has participated in at least one Zulu parade and, thus, blackened his own face — said he didn’t find any of the callers’ arguments in favor of blackface persuasive. He also admits that in order for him to put the paint on his face, he had to ignore a voice inside him telling him he shouldn’t do it.
Even if he were to concede the point, he told his listeners, that black people blackening their faces is different than white people blackening their faces, how can it be OK at this point for white Zulu members to paint their faces black but not OK for white people who aren’t?

That's the only person that I've known to be caught up in anything due to wearing it. As I recall, her husband made some mild comment about putting on all blackface and losing his media skills (which I didn't even understand). Truth be told, she could have just ignored people making comments and carried on because there was nothing there to justify her having to step down.
