Yep. I went with this logic. Solid lock. Future MIL was was fine by me.

Sometimes their father might be a closer prediction.

Don’t say you weren’t warned.

My wife looks like her dad's sister. Everyone thinks she is her daughter. My brother in law actually favors my mother in law.

I think it has a lot to do with how people take care of themselves.

As we look around at our population, you see so many people overweight, and they look much older than they should, in my opinion

If you remove the excess weight, you wonder how good people might look?

In the same way after a woman has had a couple of children and they get into their 50s. how do they look?

I am thrilled to say that my wife who is 52 a mother of two, still weighs 118 pounds she works out three or four times a week and looks amazing.

Staying fit is critical… health is a huge piece of wealth

My wife and one of her sisters look like mother and daughter meaning very nice figures and nice looking for 57 and 65. They have both taken care of themselves. Their other sister looked a lot like their mother who wasn’t an ugly lady but on the bigger side from not staying on top of her health and fitness.

My aunt told me this one time.

I hooked up with this nice piece in my home town, my aunt says "Well Hopefully She Doesn't Look Like Her Mother When She Gets Older".

All daughters become their mothers but don't even notice.

Only really solid advice about marriage I ever received was..."meet the mother".

I look nothing like my mother. I'm straight up paternal side with multiple clones in terms of aunts and cousins.

Same here. My wife is 64, tall and slender. She has the same body she had when she graduated college even after having 3 kids. She ran track at the Div 1 level and has been a coach / PE teacher her entire adult life, so she has remained fit.

Her mother is 85, much shorter, and fatter.

They claim she looks like one her father's sisters who I never met. I've seen pictures, and they definitely look similar.

I think you are on the wrong path paying attention to the appearance of a girlfriend and her mother. What you should be taking note of is her mom’s personality. Much more likely that a woman will act like her mom than look like her mom.

Not from my experience. Been married 3 times. The first wife was not a bad looker, but paled in comparison to her mother even being 20 years older. She was a beautiful woman and aged very well. Her mom looked a lot like Ava Gardner of movie fame.

Wife #2 was another good looking woman but her mom was nothing to look at and even worse to be around with all her negativity.

My current wife, and the one I'll die with is also a lovely looking lady who had one of the most vain women I've ever been around for a mom-------and for no apparent reason. She looked like she was an Auschwitz survivor being a bag of skin and bones.

Not always. I’ve seen some gorgeous women with ugly kids.
