We stopped shopping at Target when they started selling tuck-it bikinis for boys.
Yep. We can blame Scofield and his cross-reference Bible for that dispensationalism nonsense.

Yep. I'm doing the OT/PT exercise protocol and trying to avoid surgery.
Shook hands with David Alan Coe at the Texas Club 20 years ago.
Nope. That's going to summon some nefarious genie that can't be put back into the bottle.
I look nothing like my mother. I'm straight up paternal side with multiple clones in terms of aunts and cousins.
I've been self-learning Deutsch for a few years and picked it up quickly due to the amount of German cognates already embedded in the English language. A few bits of the German you already know:
Die Adresse
Der Artist
Das baby
Der Club
Effektiv
Positiv
Das Problem
Das System
Die Tradition
Der Job
Der Moment
Der Name
Offensiv
Fair
Unfair
Das Hotel
Amerika
Yes, because I'm a genealogy junkie.

Louisiana native, John Archer Lejeune, was the father of the modern Marines and the "Greatest of all Leathernecks."
One spoiled rotten Redbone Coonhound with personality galore.
We have the Taylor-Sutton feud in our family, a Texas version of the Hatfield and McCoy's. So infamous it's taught in Texas state history classes.

Familysearch.org is a valuable and free way to discover your family tree. It's owned by the Mormon church, who house the largest database of genealogical records worldwide.

This book was required reading in a forensic anthropology class I took in college. The details concerning Dr. Mary Sherman's death are forensically impossible.
Amanda
She's a man, duh.
I took forensic anthropology taught by the Bone Lady at LSU. The pelvic inlet, sciatic notch, mastoid process, and supra-orbital ridge all distinguish male from female.
I have a dear friend who is an NHS nurse in England. She's relayed stories to me of ambulances waiting 10-12 deep to get into the emergency rooms and patients dying due to staffing shortages. There's literally not enough providers to cover the floors. Low moral and low pay is often a topic as well. Kinda sucks when your government job doesn't pay enough to keep the heat on in your government (counsel) housing.
In 2016 while filling out his college application, our son sarcastically noted that he identified as a "Crabby Patty" and that his pronouns were "Your Honor." He's super conservative and was onto this nonsense well before we were.
Vaccine injuries aside, GBS can also happen with no known causative factor. I was diagnosed with the chronic variant called CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy) in 2012 and was initially paralyzed from the waist down. I'll need plasma antibody infusions for the rest of my life to stay out of a wheelchair. A decade of treatment and still no answer as to what triggered my immune system to go rogue. It definitely wasn't vaccine related. I'd had no immunizations since late teens, and I was mid 30s at diagnosis.
