We went to my sister's last year, her (cuck) husband made us all agree to no political talk before he would allow it.

But I guarantee you if she won, it would be a non-stop Kamala second line at Thanksgiving.

It's not nearly as fun anymore. Now it's just a bunch of old farts upset about their dead family members not being around

I might get "stuck" at home if the boy's football team keeps winning, playoff games will happen that Friday.

I saw an old guy in a Walmart with a MAGA hat on. He looked like he gave zero fricks about anyones feelings.

That guy in the bathroom watching porn and his phone was hooked up to the TV was probably the funniest thing I've ever read on this site.

May have been fiction but I don't care. It was freaking hilarious.

When I was younger.. As in throughout my childhood and throughout my teenage years, I would have had a story every year. My mom's family is big, she is one of eight. Maybe 20 or so grandkids plus extended family. Every year everyone ate, watched football and then had this huge volleyball game.

It would be 3 sometimes 4 teams of 6. Team played until another team beat them. There was at least 1 fight every year. Oh this was also an Easter thing so things carried over from Easter to Thanksgiving then back to Easter.

I have an uncle who is 1 of the 8 who has a metal plate in his head. He was hit by a car when he was 2. I wasn't born then, but evidently he snuck out of the house and was hit by a car, that's all I know.. But he gets mad easy. And he would call everyone every name in the book. That's where it always started. Of the 8 there are 3 males so he would pick on his sisters and they would end up fighting like dudes. My mom is the oldest and the smallest. My mom never got involved in the shenanigans, but one day she had to stop him from something and punched him.

He is and was always a solid build guy and he said my mom is the only person who ever punched him and made him step back.

One time my grandma had to get the hose pipe and spray it on people fighting to break them up. My grandpa would see the arguing and come over and start fussing "god damnit if yall cant get along stop playing. I am tired of this shite!" Everyone would calm down, wait for him to leave then the fighting started back up.

But just to give you an idea of how trashy things got. My uncle with the metal plate. One Sunday (not a holiday) we were all over at my grandma and grandpas and were were watching wrestling.

My uncle used to get so mad when a wrestler he liked lost. One of my other uncles told him to stop acting like an a-hole. It turns into a fight, the crazy uncle throws a punch, my other uncle moves and his fist goes straight through the wall. It was a house off the ground so you could tell who was coming just by hearing them walk down the hall. All of a sudden you hear my grandpa coming.. Big heavy foot steps going as fast as we ever heard. He came in and saw the hole.. No one would say who did it and he said something like "if someone doesn't tell me what happened I swear to god each and every one of you will pay for it". Everyone pointed to my uncle.

I thought my grandpa was going to kill him. Then he made him go get some sheetrock he had in his shop, showed him how to repair it and then made him pay for the paint that had to be bought and made him paint it.. All because Lex Lugar got beat. This was just common shite that happened,

I shared this just to give a little something before Thanksgiving.

I disagree. We’ve never lived in a time when differences in politics create an extreme amount of hate for one another. All it takes is one a-hole bringing up something political and all hell breaks lose.

I've covered my youngest sister's exciting activities here before.

This summer, she tried to get my mother to cosign on a loan for surgery, claiming that her breast implants had ruptured, were leaking contents into her chest, and causing her severe pain. My mother told her that she'd have to get my approval beforehand. When I pointed out that if such were true then surgery to remove the implants and foreign material would, in all likelihood, be covered by her health insurance, so I needed to see the diagnosis, treatment plan, and explanation of benefits statements, the sister told me I was an a-hole who didn't understand the pain she's going through.

She ended up cobbling together enough cash for the surgery - income tax return, child support payments, and, I'm quite sure, a good number of roadside knob jobs for cash. Just imagine my total surprise when this surgery to "repair" faulty implants resulted in a significant increase in cup size! Should be noted that she pockets the child support while pawning the kids off on my mother to raise.

Of course, her supposed medical condition only appeared once my mother, from whom said sister rents a house (a far, far below market value), told her that starting May 1 she had to stay current on her rent, be caught up on back rent by August 1, or be evicted. Now, with the tit debacle over, she faced the prospect of having to pay the rent and make back payments, so has 1) claimed that her son pushed her down a water slide and cracked one of her vertebrae, so she has a hard time working and getting the groceries and needs help (she seemed able to tote 24-packs of beer with no problem when I saw her, though) and 2) gets headaches and fatigue so severe that she just can't get to work.

Anyway, she said she'd be making the trip up for the holidays, but only on Thanksgiving day because she has "a lot going on" during that time. Mother says we need to be polite and sympathetic to her needs. frick all that.
