I feel like the pure trashiness and family bickering has subsided from decades past since the advent of the internet coupled with devices. Not saying there isn't any just a decline. More people out there yet more passive.

It will be the first holiday without my mom who passed away in June. My dad, who has dementia will come over and we will have a full house.

I tried to think of a liberal who died in the last year for a reverse version of this. Googled: "liberal hero who died in the last year" Every link on the first page was to an article about Charlie Kirk. WTF?
