I’m impressive how well the monitor was working after the shot

Wait. What do you guys do with your old monitors and appliances? You just throw them away instead of shooting them and getting one last ounce of use out of them?

Yup. F=MA. Acceleration (A) = velocity squared. In this case both the M & A of the bullet is pretty large.

Yup.

Nah, it's fricking retarded. Stop arguing, it makes it worse. They aren't shooting soft lead tips genius. It's basically plastic monitor, like butter to their bullets

It's an easy shot assuming your buddy doesn't sneeze and the monitor is paper thin like everyone assumes.

Pretty sure everyone is assuming its an actual working monitor. You are bitching about people making assumptions with little actual knowledge while you do the same thing.

Damn, that was incredibly quiet. Yes, I realize the rifle has a suppressor on it, but still...A .308 inside a bank with plenty of hard surfaces for the sound to reflect off, that was super quiet.

I've always heard that a suppressed, subsonic .308 is basically dropping you down to .38 Special as far as the ballistic performance of the round. That seems kinda risky given that they were shooting through a barrier with potential to injure/kill the hostages instead of the bad guy. I know it wasn't a long shot at all, but there are just a ton of variables in this particular scenario where any number of things could have gone wrong.

Great shot by the trigger man.

You heard wrong. A subsonic .308 has an effect range of up to 800 meters depending on the round.

Have you guys done a lot of testing shooting rifles through computer monitors or something?

Damn. What an absolutely ballsy shot. I do not wanna have to be the guy whom the sniper had to rest his rifle on his shoulders.

t's called physics.

what's your expertise in physics?? or in projectile performance??? = or for that matter in geometry??????

The bullet was only going to travel 10' after going thru a piece of glass. It takes far less time to analyze that situation in your head than it did to type out your attempt at sounding smart.

And to continue trying to defend what could have been forgiven as a momentary error has now been compounding to where we can all determine that you are just a fool.

begone.
