People crapped all over Billy Graham when he passed
Which is sad because he was a true man of God who saved millions, walked the walk and talked the talk.
Swaggert wishes he was even a quarter of the man that Billy was.

I won’t argue with that.

Ozzy’s last performance with Black Sabbath is this weekend in Birmingham. Huge show, tremendous lineup.
One wonders does Ozzy even realize he’s in Alabama and not Great Britain.
Kind of sorry I can’t make the drive. Not sure at 72 I’ve the energy to hang in through the curtain call.
Sounds like a it’s going to be a great show. Given our times, War Pigs will get a lot of traction.

Let's face it. Jimmy was a good salesman. He got some of his wealth from all the tapes, CD's, and books he sold over the years through his ministry. And received a nice salary from the Church got to live in on church property, drive a nice car paid for by the church, and got to fly around in a private aircraft.
Also, I wonder how much in royalities his music generates.

I didn't say it was illegal. Sometimes there's a difference between legal and right. Members of the clergy living in multimillion dollar estates while syphoning tithes from lower or middle class people and utilizing loopholes to evade taxes are certainly not doing anything righteous.
I was trying to find his net worth. It’s currently around 5-10 million. I heard in the 1980s he was making a ton of money. They were basically printing it. His “ministry” was making around 150 million per year. Had he not got himself in trouble he’d probably be 10-20 times richer right now. He cost himself a lot of money getting caught.

But about Jimmy...I don't want to speak ill of the dead, but these types of preachers are a funny bunch. As a Catholic, I'm not sure how to reconcile a pastor living an opulent lifestyle. It's not just having a modest to comfortable life - they live like rappers. I suppose if this style brings people to Jesus, then I can't judge too harshly, but it's hard to look at wealth like that and not think it could have been put to better use.

I'm not sure if you know this, but you can quickly and easily determine where this Ozzy show is going on, and it ain't in the Heart of Dixie.
