I’m sitting here listening to the heavy drops on the metal of the window unit...usually it’s soothing. Now it’s maddening. I can’t sleep. Everyone else is sleeping and I just got dry from wading down the street.

I am not ready to deal with flooding again. I had my fill in 16

Isn’t a lot more rain forecasted for tomorrow?

Tomorrow will probably be one of those who gets what when type days. Some places may have a bad time of it.

I’ve got about a foot of water in my house. Thankfully saved my car. This is a nightmare.

Took no water in 2016

The drainage canal behind my house in old jefferson is overflowing and the water is quickly creeping up to my backdoor. Exactly what happened in 16 and haven’t seen it since. Not good.

EBR south of I-10/12 has a while to go.

The line is moving pretty good everywhere south of Bayou Manchac. But there's a mesolow over south EBR that has heavy rain wrapped around extending through the whole part of the parish.
