Wow, that’s not even close.

Doesn't get any more classic for an OT response... something is either the GOAT or it's trash - absolutely nothing in between.

Why do people on here hate places that are successful and print money? Sure it’s not the best tex-Mex food out there but it’s good. Superior has found a very successful model and good for them. Same with Chimes. They will both a absolutely kill it in Lafayette.

If you want fajitas - Superior is better than Chuy’s.

But I can think of at at least 1 regional Texas chain that is even better than Superior but does not exist east of Beaumont.

Restaurants get their rents raised all the time, why couldn’t they just find a new location? If it was doing so well, seems easy enough. Generally speaking it’s not like they get their rent raised 1 month out.

BR Superior - I ate there two weeks ago; I asked for charro beans instead of refried and the waitress thought I was speaking German. She said let me check, went to kitchen, and came back to say they had soup.

Yeah, only reason I know they are about to break ground, is because my company provided a quote for some work.

That place will haul money out by the wheelbarrow loads. That's a great location at the corner of Kaliste Saloom and Camilla.

I'm still sad that Randols is gone and will be paved over by a Superior Grill.

Lupe Tortilla! I love that place and take all my visitors there. Or another one that I can't remember the Mexican name. El Something….

I had been to that Superior Grill so many times and it was always a good time and a fine meal! The Crazy Javier steak was my favorite lunch steak!

My daughter lives in the area, my Son-IL always wants to go eat there when we visit, I am glad it closed. It's not bad unless you have been to the joints around Houston, then it sucks.

There is a place in League City called Mr. Sombrero, incredible TexMex.

Superior will give that Lafonduhh joint a run for its money.

La Fonda will be fine, people don’t go there for the food really anyway. It’s going to crush Agave though.
