Superior Grill Birmingham closed it’s doors for good today. I went with friends last night to say goodbye. I had some great times there. A real estate investment firm purchased the property for 8.5 million and raised the rent. Employees told me they would not be relocating in the Birmingham area but are opening a location in Lafayette. The Birmingham location was open for 27 years.

That wasn't bought for rent. It was bought to find a Greater Fool.

And kind of expensive for rice and beans. Good margaritas though.

It’s not trash and I don’t think the food is rated highly by most people

Sucks to hear that. I’ve been to that one. It always seemed popular.

They will print money in Lafayette just like they do in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The Gov Street Baton Rouge location is my personal favorite though.

The food is strip mall mexican food

The margaritas are trash

It's awful food

Can get better fajitas at Applebee's

Sad day. We were scheduled to play this Friday, but they moved up the closing to today. We missed out on being one of the last acts there. Many a fun, wild night had. Kelsi and Brie were awesome and I hope they land on their feet.

Where will the cougars go? Is no one thinking of the cougars?

They are going to put a bank on that site. Just what the world needs, another bank.

While its not traditional mexican (its tex-mex), I think its the best they have in the BR area.

When did they let you go and how long did you work there?

Cool vibe, but it’s overrated, expensive and you always smell like refried beans when you leave.
