You mfers are crazy, food is very good. I bet I brought a dozen people to that location and every damn one of them loved it.

They broke off from Cadillac Grill in Dallas, I think and opened their first place in Shreveport many years ago. It damn good place to eat high end Tex Mex, better than anything I have found in Texas so far

Superior is good for what it is, but this is ridiculous.

You must be high if you think Superior has food anywhere near the level of most places in Texas

Superior Grill Lafayette is about to break ground soon.

edit: I can't read ... I saw Superior and somehow the Chimes site popped in my head. Yes, the Superior site at the old Randol's should begin very soon ... my bad brother

"The Chimes" Building site preparation began in mid-June; 6 weeks ago. Arborists trimmed the oak trees and removed pine trees. Pad site location was nearly completed on 7/4/22 (see pic below). Concrete foundation should be poured any day, unless it was done over the weekend. I pass in front of that corner twice a day.

superior is not over rated trash you retard. Superior is what it is. Is it over priced, absolutely. But it is decent fancy tex-mex, where you can be seen. That's what it is. Some people don't want to pay for that experience. But a ton of people do. So don't be a tool.

I grew up at Superior. Moved to Texas a decade ago. I brought my wife and kids to eat there 5 years ago and they hated it. In retrospect it’s not great food but it is a great atmosphere.

They didn’t even know wtf charro beans were…or chili gravy. ;)

That’s because Chime’s is being built there. Superior will be constructed further down Kaliste Saloom closer to Ambassador Caffery.

Name a place better. Superior SHV fish tacos pretty good, amigo. Big ol fkn hamburger and hand cut fries.

Funny thing Fkn Nickys and all the shitty mexi joints in SBC are same price as Superior. shite is insane.

Yeah the food has never been special but it’s a fun place to go with friends and family

Def not trash, but not nearly one of the better TexMex in SHV/Bossier. However, the Crazy Javier for lunch & their grilled fish/ fish tacos actually pretty good.
Now, for Lafayette…Superior might be considered near the top of Mexican food. For as good as their local cuisine is there, Tex Mex def isn’t one of them. Superior will give that Lafonduhh joint a run for its money.

I went in there the first week it opened. Wendell D'Artois was an acquaintance and I had moved to Bham a couple years prior.
I bragged about the Margarita's to friends - unknown to most, Everclear was an additional ingredient - and many a female friend or co-worker alternately thanked/cursed me for making the introduction. People got laid out of there like it was Cowboys in Bossier when it first opened.
At one time the one on Line (?) was about the only place you could get liquor on Sunday as long as you ordered food - it might have still been called the Cadillac Grill - and there were many NFL Sundays my group would get there at opening and order chips and hot sauce and drink all day... Good fricking Times!

I used to order this in college at Superior on St. Charles. Really good back then.
