Yep.
Lots of high pressure systems, dry dusty air and wind shear.
Those last 2 invests got shredded in the Caribbean.

Crazy the Pacific weather can affect Atlantic storms that much.

It might be miserable, but if it keeps the atlantic quiet, the juice is worth the squeeze.

I always get a sense of relief if we can get out of August without any major storms. Katrina, Ida, Laura, etc. were all late August. ::Knocks on wood::
This should mean our Homeowner's insurance can lower their rates since we've gone a few years with no big storms! And our electric bills can finally remove the "Storm infrastructure recovery" fees that never go away.
