Didn’t he straight up lie in his “documentaries”?

It depends on what you mean by "sensationalism." He correctly portrayed what would happen if you ate nothing but the Supersize portions at McDonald's for a whole month

Except that’s not what he did.

That eating too much fast food can make you fat? That’s not a viewpoint homie. That’s a fact.

No one is arguing that fast food is healthy.

But it’s been proven that a lot what was in that documentary was false.

Pointing out the fact that’s he’s a proven liar does it equate to simping for McDonalds.

I believe his experiment in Super Size Me has been proven to be bullshite by any researchers that tried to replicate his findings.

severe binge alcoholism.

Following Spurlock's 2017 assertion that he hadn't been "sober for more than a week in three decades,"

Yep. In the documentary, he tried blaming his ravaged liver on the food, but in reality he was just a severe alcoholic. The documentary was mostly horse shite.

If it’s true that he hadnt been sober for more than one week at a time for over 30 years- then im kinda shocked he made it to 53 .

He was undoubtedly a grifter.

There was a good YouTube video a couple years ago. When the Dr. examined him at the end of the 30-days, he made a statement that his liver tests made no sense for someone without any history of drugs or alcohol …then several years later the filmmaker seemingly pivoted to a new project and started publishing extensively about his struggles with drugs and alcohol.

Exactly my point. McDonald’s is all around poison.

You can’t convince these people otherwise. I suspect half of the people on this board have huge guts.

Yep. It’s telling that his family did not identify the type of cancer (donations to x cancer fund) or even “x year battle with”

You cannot put cholesterol in your body from the outside. High cholesterol is a result of inflammation inside your body. The myth of food like meat and eggs causing it is a lie that you’ve been convinced of by the medical model so they can put you on their drugs. Saturated fat is in no way shape or form bad for you. Try eating HFLC for a month and see what happens to your cholesterol. It will be in an ideal range.

He lied quite a bit in that Super Size Me documentary. Dude apparently went sober for the longest he could before going into it (not very long) with his all-vegan diet, then started binge drinking as soon as he started to eat the McDonald's and didn't disclose any of that.

Of course eating nothing but McDonald's is going to be terrible for your health, it's high-fat low-protein food laced with sugar (a simple carb), but the liver damage that he showed he was getting in the film came from the booze, and he was destroying his health while filming the movie with way more than just Mickey D's. The backlash from it also caused them to pull out the super size option entirely so frick him for that. I don't eat fast food very often anymore but when I do I want the option to get a ton of fries for cheap
